Review of Unbound Trust by Mind Fog Reviews

In “Unbound Trust” (Book Three of the Aiza Clan Series) by Diana Castilleja we find that Brook Aiza has returned home after being at Aunt Jerry’s for the past year and is jealous of all the changes in her family. She desperately wants what her siblings have which is to find her life mate and have a family of her own. But she doesn’t know if she can find anyone that she can share her secret with.

Mitch isn’t interested in having a woman complicate his life, especially Brook but somehow he can’t help but fall for her. Can he understand her secret and help her fight off a demon?

I loved this book from cover to cover. It has what every book should have such as suspense, a love interest and lots of twist and turns in the plot. The demonology reflects a side of romance intertwined with romance.  You never know what will happen next and I dare to say that her other books are as compelling as this one is. I can not wait to read the other books in this series. I highly recommend this novel to paranormal romance fans. This is a series of which I am going to follow from this very talented and auspicious author.

Review of Undercover Alien by Mind Fog Reviews

“Undercover Alien” by Barbara Romo tells us of aliens and UFOs.  She winds the tale around believers and non-believers.  Gideon Cyrus is an alien “undercover” until the time when he is to teach the world of the existence of aliens and UFOs.  Abduction included…this Sci-fi story makes you wonder if “they” exist.

Hannah tries to keep her UFO believers safe and finds that she might be falling in love with someone who does not believe and is full of cynicism. Can she resist him?  The romance that ensues tells us that she can overcome non-believers and their telltale cynicism.

I followed Ms. Romo’s depiction of aliens and UFOs throughout this controversial subject matter with a “grain of salt”.  Whether you believe or not she allows you to enjoy the secretiveness of the alien and the believers.  Reading this tome might encourage you to believe and you will find the romance side of it infatuating.  Whether you believe or not you will find this an encouraging read of abductions, aliens and UFOs.

Review of The Blooming by Mind Fog Reviews

In “The Blooming” by Tonia Brown my first question was: Zombies and Erotica?  Are you serious? Those two aren’t usually some things you see together in a plot. It’s like sushi and chocolate. Yet, as I continued to read, the story unfolded in a way that made me rush back to it when I had to leave my monitor. The characters came off the page and I wanted to know who was going to be the first victim, how the other characters were going to get through the situation and who was going to make it out alive in the end.

As a reader of horror and someone who loves Dawn of the Dead, Night of the Living Dead, and other sundry zombie fares, this book was an interesting mix of horror and erotica…and the author really made it work. I found myself engaged and interested in how such a popular subject usually used in the horror genre could translate to the realm of erotica.

I would suggest this book to friends who would enjoy a different take on erotica, and would most likely read other books by this author. She obviously has a knack for putting a twist to her plot.

Review of The Caterpillar’s Flight – A Story of Transformation – Spirituality for Real Life by Mind Fog Reviews

“The Caterpillar’s Flight- A Story of Transformation – Spirituality For Real Life” by Laura Lester Fournier is a marvelous book about how to live with peace, forgiveness, love, and grace; inviting each of us to pass these virtues on to our children, thereby making the world a better place.

Laura supports these ideas through her own experiences as a child, and then as a woman who has put them to practice.

I have learned quite a bit from this book on forgiveness, and I plan to put what I have learned into practice on a daily basis. I would definitely recommend this book for those who want to gain more perspective on personal spirituality.

Review of The Guns of Mars by Mind Fog Reviews

In The Guns of Mars by Martin T. Ingham we have a man named Morgan Asher who is a part of a colonization on the planet Mars. He soons finds out not everything is as it seems. He realizes that he might have to fight for what he believes in.

There were times that I thought this story was moving so slowly without any indication that something better was coming along.

At first look I thought this was just a regular science fiction book but, as I dug deeper into the book I realized that the underlying message is about how easy it is to go with the flow and forget to fight for our rights that we have in America. I feel that people would get a great lesson from this novel about the ebb and flow of people and their opinions and actions.

Review of the Return by Mind Fog Reviews

In The Return by Jan Bowles, Marielle Stevens never thought her presumed dead husband would return back from the “dead”.  Now she has a lot of explaining to do to her husband. First off can he forgive her for marrying his best friend? Secondly is that can he forgive her for not telling him about his daughter?

This book, at times, reminds me of Castaway the movie at times with various differences. The book is well written and has a couple of hot and steamy love scenes for those of us that love the hot stuff in a romance novel. The cute little father and daughter moments are so cute that it makes your heart melt.
